Two updates:
Nick is a business student reflecting on how the arts affects everyone, and we provide an update on our recent student survey.
Nick’s reflection:
Nick is a business student—but he knows the arts aren’t just for “arts students.” In this video, he reflects on how the arts are woven through every part of our lives—from the stories we tell, to how we understand people, culture, and meaning. Nick is calling on other non-arts students—especially those in business, economics, and law—to pay attention to what’s happening at UTAS and get involved in the campaign now.
This isn’t just an arts issue. It’s a university issue. It’s a Tasmania issue.
Support creativity, connection, and critical thinking—before it’s too late.
Survey Update:
The survey results are LIVE. Over 100 UTAS students shared powerful, urgent feedback about the proposed Arts & Humanities cuts. We've compiled the data and sent it to leadership — but we don’t know how they’ll respond. Read the full report here:
linktr.ee/save_utas_arts We’ll be sharing more insights and quotes from the report over the coming days. In the meantime — we need your help. DM us if you’re keen to get involved.
